**Overview**:
Full Duplex (concurrent Tx & Rx operation using the same carrier frequency) and radar transceivers have the challenge that they want to receive a weak wanted signal, while transmitting a very strong signal at the same frequency, preferably with the same antenna. Self-Interference Cancellation (SIC) is a technique to improve sensitivity for Full Duplex and radar transceivers by injecting a replica of the transmitted signal into the receiver with opposite sign so it cancels. Tx signal cancellation can be done at different spots in the receiver chain (i.e. RF, IF, digital).

**Your Responsibilities**:

- Literature search, to inventorize and benchmark (performance, silicon area, complexity) different published SIC techniques
- Make a schematic design and a test-bench to demonstrate most promising RF SIC technique for UWB (8GHz carrier, 500MHz bandwidth) radar and explore it’s limitations (noise, channel bandwidth, linearity and amount of suppression) and possible improvements.

**Your Profile**:

- MSc in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or related field with an emphasis on IC design
- Affinity with the state of art analog design/verification flow and tools, preferably with Cadence tooling
- Creative and positive mindset
- Flexible and eager for new challenges beyond the skills already acquired
- Excellent communication in English, both verbal and written
- Desire for a career in IC design/Semiconductor industry
