**_The department_**
- We are currently seeking an experienced DC Supervisor to join our team. In your role, you will be responsible for a team of two team leads and 25 maintenance technicians. As a Supervisor, you will be responsible for the maintenance department at our site at the Eemshaven. This department's main goal is to ensure that repairs and maintenance of the machines of our (high end tech) customer are done safely with a high quality standard that is performed on time to ensure smooth operations._

Main activities_**
- _ Supervise a team of 25 maintenance technicians with the help of 2 team leaders_
- _ Plan and coordinate maintenance activities to ensure timely completion_
- _ Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members_
- _ Workforce scheduling including vacation planning, absence, and overtime control_
- _ Conduct regular inspections to identify continuous improvement_
- _ Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs_
- _ Ensure that all work is completed safely and efficiently_
- _ Supervise inventory of tools and supplies needed for maintenance tasks_
- _ Collaborate with other (external) departments to identify maintenance needs and priorities_
- _ Monitor and control maintenance costs_
- _ Prepare reports on maintenance activities and performance metrics_
- _ Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards_

- _ Strong leadership and interpersonal skills_
- _ Proven experience as a supervisor or similar role within the field of logistics_
- _ Technical knowledge and skills are nice to have but not necessary to get the job done_
- _ Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal_
- _ Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines_
- _ Willingness to work flexible hours and during weekends_
