**About us**
Just 10 mins by car from The Hague city centre, the brand-new hotel is conveniently located opposite the Voorburg train station, close to where thoroughfares A4 (Amsterdam - The Hague), A13 (The Hague - Rotterdam) and A12 (The Hague - Utrecht) come together.
Within walking distance explore historical Voorburg, with the Huygens' Hofwijck museum and the Herenstraat or a little further afield to visit, Royal Palace Noordeinde, Madurodam, de Pier and Scheveningen Beach. Take a drive out to close-by The Hague, Leiden, Delft or Rotterdam.
The hotel has 125 modern air-conditioned bedrooms. Our chic, open lobby offers all-day dining, and is a great place to meet. We also proudly serve fresh barista-brewed coffee and snacks 24 hours. Our brand-new restaurant Miss Jones features a new concept; “a Travelers living room”.

**What’s The Job?**
The moment a guest steps into one of our hotels, they walk into a genuinely memorable experience. As Housekeeping Supervisor you’ll help the Executive Housekeeper in supervising all aspects of housekeeping and laundry - and ensure high standards are maintained. We are looking for an enthusiastic Housekeeping Supervisor, available for either _a part-time or zero-hour position._
**You Are Responsible For**
- Check public areas, guest rooms, equipment, and linens are clean and in good repair advise team members of areas of improvements
- Handle (special) requests and needs to achieve complete guest satisfaction for all our guests
- Manage day-to-day staffing requirements
- Provide mentoring, coaching and regular feedback to help improve employee performance
- Educate and train all employees in compliance with governmental and safety regulations.
- Ensure all staff has the tools and equipment to carry out job duties
- Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with the operational teams
- May assist with deep cleaning projects and/or assist housekeeping staff during high volume periods
- Control expenses with a focus on increased productivity.
- Maintain proper inventory levels, managing cost per room for supplies and labor (for example: bed & bath linen reuse and laundry operation).
**What We Need From You**
- Good communication and social skills
- Fluent English
- Housekeeping experience preferred
- Ability to work on your own or as part of a team
- Flexibility - morning, evening, weekend and holiday shifts are all part of the job.
- Experience - ideally you have worked one year in a housekeeping supervision position.
- Stress-resistant, organized and representative
