**Role Overview**

We are looking for someone who has excellent inter-personal skills as well as strong networking and communication skills.

**Role responsibilities**

- Generates and underwrites insurance business in accordance with the business plan, underwriting authority and the binding authority agreements.

- Works with brokers to forge relationships and trust.

- Creates and maintains underwriting files in accordance with the departments file structure.

- Resolves queries in a timely and efficient manner to enable support functions, including claims, finance and compliance, to fulfil their responsibilities.

- Ensures documentation such as slips, declarations and bordereaux are completed in an accurate and timely manner.

- Seeks cross sell opportunities and promotes DUAL's underwriting products and services.

- Ensures that service levels are of a very high standard.

- Maintains accurate and timely Management Information,

- Ensures that brokers settle outstanding balances within the agreed credit terms.

- Shares ideas, best practice and other information within DUAL.

**Key requirements**

- 5 years plus underwriting experience.

- Strong English language and grammar skills

- Strong arithmetic skills
