NPSP

NPSP ontwikkelt en levert innovatieve milieuvriendelijke composietmaterialen en producten voor de openbare ruimte, bouw, design en mobiliteit. We gebruiken zoveel mogelijk bio-based en circulaire grondstoffen, die na een lange levensduur hergebruikt kunnen worden.

Samen met onze partners realiseren we mooie oplossingen in bio-based composieten en zetten we hightech productietechnologie in voor alledaagse toepassingen in natuurvezelversterkte kunststoffen. Daarbij willen we een leidende rol spelen in de verduurzaming van onze samenleving door de milieubelasting aantoonbaar te verminderen en deskundig advies te geven.

NPSP verkoopt deze materialen onder de merknaam Nabasco. Bekende producten van NPSP zijn de verkeersborden van NabascoSign, Circsit banken van Velopa, de ANWB-paddestoelen en 3D geveldelen.

Functieomschrijving

Als onderzoeksassistent werk je binnen het team van NPSP en ondersteun je de (internationale) onderzoekers. Het onderzoek richt zich op ontwikkeling van biobased materialen. Je doet chemisch werk, mengt ingrediënten als natuurlijke vezels, vulmiddelen en harsen met een kneder, perst materialen, zaagt samples, doet tests op trekbank, impacttester en verouderingsproeven. Je gaat verder met de verbetering van het onderzoek en het management van het laboratorium in Amsterdam, de waarborging van de veiligheid en het onderhoud van apparatuur en materialen.

Samen met het team ga je nieuwe inzichten ontwikkelen, analyses maken voor het onderzoek en de implementatie bewaken. Onderzoek is de kern van het bedrijf, dus de kwaliteit van jouw werk is van groot belang voor nieuwe ontwikkelingen. Zorgvuldigheid, gestructureerd werken en de resultaten netjes rapporteren hoort bij je rol. Tegelijkertijd zorg je voor de inkoop en beheer van grondstoffen en materialen. Je onderhoudt hiervoor contacten met toeleveranciers. Je houdt van een functioneel en opgeruimd laboratorium waarin veilige en verantwoorde omgang met chemicaliën de hoogste prioriteit heeft. Door de samenwerking met meerdere internationale onderzoekers, maar ook met studenten, is het noodzakelijk dat je op een goed niveau Engels spreekt.

- Kunststof deeg produceren voor labschaalonderzoek in een semi-industrieel kneder machine
- Productie van kleine series producten m.b.v. industriële persen
- Verwerken van grondstoffen tot bruikbaar ingrediënt, bijvoorbeeld door te malen en zeven
- Assisterend lab onderhoud

De ideale kandidaat:
Je hebt een
- MBO-diploma Allround laborant MBO Niveau 3 of vergelijkbaar.
- Je hebt een hands-on mentaliteit die niet bang is om vieze handen te krijgen.
- Je bent netjes en communicatief, nieuwsgierig, toegewijd, open en ambitieus.
- Je kunt een database bijhouden m.b.t. beheren en bijhouden van voorraad voor het lab en werkplaats
- Je bent bereid om zowel BHV- als EHBO-diploma te behalen.
- Je spreekt en schrijft zowel Nederlands als Engels op mínimaal B1-niveau.
- Je bent 20-24 uur per week beschikbaar.
- Je kunt stapsgewijs een instructie uitvoeren.
- Je bent in staat inefficiënte handelingen op te merken en mee te denken met verbeteringen.
- Een teamspeler, die graag communiceert en niet bang is om vragen te stellen.
