Our client is a global leader in high-tech solutions across defense, aerospace, and cybersecurity. In the Netherlands, Thales operates in four locations, including Hengelo, where they develop state-of-the-art radar systems, communications equipment, and naval systems.
**What are we looking for?**
Are you passionate about empowering people and driving team success in a high-tech environment? We are looking for a dynamic leader with strong analytical and interpersonal skills to manage software engineering teams and contribute to strategic initiatives within Thales.
**Skills and Experience**:
**Must-Have**:
- Proven management experience in a high-tech or engineering organization.
- Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and SAFe methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability to coach and develop individuals and teams.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities to balance strategic and operational priorities.
**Nice-to-Have**:
- Experience in safety-critical, real-time system development.
- Leadership certifications or training in Agile methodologies.
- Background in software engineering or naval systems development.
**Education**:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
**Languages**:
- Fluent in English (written and spoken). Dutch language proficiency is a plus.
