Are you a driven and ambitious individual looking to make a meaningful impact in the world of coffee and tea? We're seeking a talented R&D Product Innovation Specialist to join our team at JACOBS DOUWE EGBERTS.
About the Role
As a key member of our R&D team, you will be responsible for executing research projects related to recipe development in black coffee and/or milk-based coffee products. You will also assist in general team activities, such as organizing tastings, new recipe development, and shelf-life analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Experimentation and Optimization: Conduct experiments in the laboratory or pilot plant to develop innovative products.
- Data Analysis: Analyze data to identify trends and propose solutions.
- Knowledge Capture: Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best practices for process technology improvement.
- Presentation: Deliver presentations on findings and outcomes.

Requirements
- Enrolled in a master's program in Food Science, Chemistry, or Food Technology
- Strong MS Office skills and fluent proficiency in speaking and written English
- Structured approach, driven and energetic personality, excellent communication and people skills, and ability to work in a team and independently
- Commitment to dedicate at least 5 months to this internship
- Availability to work 5 days per week, including three days in-office and one or two days remotely
Eligibility Criteria
- Internship should be included in your study curriculum and directly contribute to your academic results
- Education institution willing to sign a collaboration agreement with JACOBS DOUWE EGBERTS and an NDA agreement for internships
- EU(EEA) student residing in the Netherlands during the internship or a Non-EU(EEA) student enrolled and living in the Netherlands during the internship
