Plant IT Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Manager to join our team at Abbott Laboratories. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems and infrastructure, supporting the production of high-quality products, and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the IT team in ensuring the delivery and maintenance of IT systems and infrastructure to support business operations.
- Develop and maintain relationships with site and divisional leadership to ensure alignment and effective communication.
- Oversee a team of internal resources and contractors to ensure the successful implementation of IT projects and initiatives.
- Collaborate with corporate IT groups to ensure the alignment of IT systems with business goals and objectives.
- Participate in major incident/crisis calls and drive root cause analyses and corrective actions.
- Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance system supportability, performance, and reliability.
- Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key software vendors and counterparts at other companies.
- Oversee and control site IT budgets, including project capital and operating expenses.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, business administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of IT or business experience, preferably in a large multinational organization.
- Strong experience in life sciences, including GxP system validation.
- Proven ability to manage a team and budget.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills in English and Dutch.
