Abbott is seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Manager to join our team in Zwolle, Netherlands. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems and infrastructure, supporting the goals and objectives of our leadership team, and driving innovation and improvement in our IT processes.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure the delivery and maintenance of IT systems and infrastructure to support Abbott's business operations.
- Act as the central point of contact for all IT matters at the Zwolle site, accountable to site leadership and the user community.
- Lead a team of internal and external resources to achieve IT goals and objectives.
- Oversee the IT budget, including capital and operating expenses, and ensure effective use of resources.
- Ensure compliance with corporate and divisional policies, as well as regulatory requirements in our served markets.
- Manage IT projects and participate in business projects based on IT and business process expertise.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve IT systems supportability, performance, availability, and reliability.
- Stimulate creativity and innovation in others, promoting a global perspective and open to new ideas.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with key software vendors and counterparts at other companies.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, business administration, industrial engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of IT or business experience, preferably in a large multinational organization.
- Strong experience in life sciences, including GxP system validation.
- Established history of managing teams and budgets.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills in Dutch and English.
- Demonstrated ability to work in highly ambiguous and complex environments.
- Broad IT or business expertise in various disciplines, including system development and infrastructure.
- Strong project management skills.
