Overview:
The SAP Support Specialist will be an integral part of the Service Delivery Team, tasked with ensuring optimal functionality of all ADM systems. This role involves analyzing user-reported issues and providing effective solutions, either directly or in collaboration with relevant teams and external partners, in accordance with the established Service Level Agreements. Additionally, the specialist will collaborate with architects, developers, and testers to implement minor enhancements aligned with the global template design, following necessary approvals from the Solution Delivery team.Key Responsibilities: Deliver comprehensive functional and technical knowledge in the designated process area, demonstrating a strong understanding of key integration points across various modules and technical components. Take full responsibility for support tickets within the assigned process area, coordinating with integration teams, other process teams, development teams, and external support providers to resolve issues within the defined Service Level Agreement timelines. Familiarize with the global template and regional solutions crafted by the Solution Delivery teams, ensuring that ticket resolutions maintain the integrity of the solutions. Conduct thorough testing, including regression testing, prior to releasing any solutions for final user validation. Adhere to ADM IT processes in all daily operations. Follow the ADM IT Service Management protocols, regularly updating incident/problem/service tickets accurately and documenting resolutions in the service management tool. Design and configure minor enhancements in line with ADM's standard configuration and naming conventions, and document Functional Design Specifications. Provide technical insights in support of audit requests as necessary. Comply with regulatory and security standards. Collaborate with other process and system experts to identify and implement opportunities for continuous business process improvements.
Qualifications:
At least 5 years of experience in one or more SAP modules; experience with S/4HANA is highly preferred. In-depth knowledge of the SAP S/4 HANA embedded PPDS solution, including detailed scheduling configuration, product data structure, demand management, planning strategies, heuristics, subcontracting, and production scheduling, particularly in process manufacturing, with a preference for experience in the food/agriculture sector. Proficiency in SAP S/4 HANA 1909 PP-PI solutions, including process messages, master recipes, production execution, and shop floor operations, with experience in both process and discrete manufacturing, ideally in the food/agriculture industry. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities in SAP PP/PPDS, with a capacity to propose best practice solutions for incidents and assess their downstream impacts on integrated solutions. Experience with key integration areas in procurement, supply chain, warehouse management, and quality management, as well as interfaces to MES systems. Comprehensive understanding of ALE/EDI IDocs, file-based interfaces, LIMS integration, and recovery of failed batch jobs.
