Job Summary:

The SAP Support PPDS Analyst will be part of the Service Delivery Organization responsible for maintaining all ADM systems in operation with the highest availability. As a member of the Service Delivery Organization, the SAP analyst will analyze tickets raised by users and provide responses or resolutions to the users or work with concerned teams/3rd party providers to resolve issues according to the Operational/Service Level Agreement with the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide deep functional and technical expertise in the given process area, as well as demonstrated knowledge of key integration points across different modules and technical components.
  • Assume full ownership of support tickets in the respective process area, work with integration, other process teams, development teams, 3rd party support providers to resolve tickets within Operational/Service Level Agreement limits.
  • Understand global template and regional solutions designed/developed by Solution Delivery teams and resolve tickets keeping the solution intact.
  • Perform thorough testing including regression testing before releasing any solution for final user validation.
  • Understand and follow ADM IT processes in performing all day-to-day activities.
  • Understand ADM IT Service Management process, update incident/problem/service tickets regularly and accurately and document resolution in the service management tool.
  • Design and configure minor enhancements following the ADM standard configuration/naming standards, document functional design documents.
  • Provide technical input in support of audit requests, as needed.
  • Follow regulatory compliance and Security standards.
  • Partner with other process and system experts to identify and implement business process continuous improvements opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in one or more SAP modules; experience with S/4HANA highly preferred.
  • Deep knowledge of SAP S/4 HANA embedded PPDS solution covering the following processes: embedded detailed scheduling configuration, product data structure, demand management, planning strategies, heuristics, subcontracting, detailed scheduling board, production scheduling, error handling of the core interface between S4 HANA DS and S4 HANA, subcontracting, stock transfer planning etc.; experience in process manufacturing preferably experience in food/agriculture industry.
  • Expertise with SAP S/4 HANA 1909 PP-PI solutions covering the following processes: working with process messages, master recipes with process instructions, PI sheets and production execution using interface with MES using PI/PO as middleware, SAP MII, production planning, production scheduling, backflushing, subcontracting, shop floor operations and batch management; experience in both process manufacturing and discrete manufacturing, preferably experience in food/agriculture industry.
  • High analytical and problem-solving skills in SAP PP/PPDS, ability to provide best practice solution on incidents & assess its downstream impact on integrated solution. Ensure continuity of 'business as usual' items in lieu of proposed RICEFW as well as its relevance on Master Data requirements.
  • Experience in dealing with key integration areas in procurement, Supply Chain, Warehouse Management (EWM), and Quality management as well as interfaces to MES systems.
  • Deep understanding of ALE/EDI IDoc's, file-based interface, LIMS integration, recovery of failed batch Jobs & Inbound & Outbound RFC & Queues. Preferred experience on MES integration using SAP PI/PO.
  • 3 years' experience in a support analyst role in a medium/large organization.
