Bristol Myers Squibb is a leader in the pharmaceutical industry, and we're seeking a skilled Senior Manager Capital Projects to join our team. As a key member of our Facility & Engineering department, you'll be responsible for leading the site capital project processes, including budget preparation, cost control, and project execution plans.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all Capital and Expense project selection, justification, and delivery, ensuring alignment with business needs.
  • Direct and monitor project cost determination, overseeing the preparation and management of Capital Appropriation Requests (CAR).
  • Pursue and implement novel project solutions, new technologies, and methodologies with operational SMEs to meet business needs.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and legal requirements for all proposed Project Management, Design, and construction processes.
  • Deliver CAPEX and Expense Project Portfolio.
  • Select and manage a contingent workforce to ensure the right competency mix for delivering complex and changing project portfolios.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Science, or IT-related discipline.
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant project management experience, preferably in GMP environments and pharmaceutical/biotechnology manufacturing settings.
  • Experience using Project Controls and Management tools to track relevant metrics and KPIs.
  • Project Management Professional certification is preferred.
  • Experience leading a small team of professionals and using SAP and budgeting tools.
