Job Title: QESH Specialist About the Role: As a QESH Specialist at CheckMark Labrecruitment, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe and healthy working environment within our innovative Biotech Science laboratories. You will inform, advise, and coach the QESH team on all aspects of QESH to promote a secure, healthy, incident-free workplace both today and in the future. Key Responsibilities: • Act as an advisor, coach, and trainer for line managers in their daily activities as being a leader and a role model for SHE and Q within the organization. • Coach and train (new) laboratory employees regarding application of QESH. This concerns practical measures to be used in the experimental setup, as well as to the workplace (ergonomics checks) in labs and offices. • Build, maintain, manage, and improve the QESH Management System. • Guide and support compliance to new and existing Q and SHE legislations, requirements, and standards (including the execution of gap assessments). • Organizing and executing audits and management review. • Lead SHE Risk assessments in labs and offices, such as assessments on Job Safety, Health Risks, Machine Safety. • Lead & report Root Cause Analysis (RCAs) to determine the causes leading to QESH incidents and to gather effective solutions. Requirements: • HBO or MSc degree in the field of Life Science or Biotechnology. • Strong experience working within a R&D and/or Laboratory environment. • Relevant QESH, Quality Management, and/or SHE experience in an industrial laboratory organization. • A degree in Safety Engineering (HVK, MVK) is considered as a plus. • Being skilled in application of dedicated software and digital tools is a prerequisite. • Fluency in English and Dutch (written and spoken). • Flexible, result-oriented mindset, can-do mentality. Terms of Employment: • A contract for 12 months at CheckMark Labrecruitment. • Salary indication from €4500,- to €6300,- gross per month based on a full-time position. • Full-time position (40 hours/week). • Day shift.
