About the Role
As an E-commerce Key Account Manager, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional experiences for our owners on our E-commerce platforms. You'll work closely with teams to ensure our commercial plans are performing and that we have the right levers in place to achieve our targets.
About You
We're looking for a sales manager with a passion for commercial challenges and a drive to deliver results. You'll need to have hands-on experience with core account management and planning competencies, including forecasting, promo planning, budget management, and merchandising. You'll also need to be an effective communicator, able to clearly explain technical issues in simple terms.
Key Accountabilities
- P&L Delivery: Deliver plans and strategies to hit our monthly, quarterly, and annual commercial targets on our EMEA marketplaces.
- Owner Experience: Ensure owners have a fantastic experience every day on our marketplaces platform, with optimized content and execution in line with our SD criteria.
- Budget Management: Invest budgets optimally, focusing on incrementality and ROAS, including onsite media and co-marketing events.
- Local Trade Plans: Work with local teams to develop and deliver local trade plans, implementing them on our central marketplaces accounts.
- Key Event Planning: Lead key event planning for our marketplace partners, requiring significant cross-functional management.
- Agency Management: Work with external agency partners to drive performance and results.
- Account Analysis and Reporting: Be the voice of account performance through formalized reporting and sharing insights with senior managers.
- Business Planning and Forecasting: Plan and forecast for your channels and accounts.
- Hand-on Account Support: Provide support to the merchandising team in setting up specific SKUs and plans in our marketplaces partners' systems.
- External Networking and Partnerships: Build collaborative, value-adding partnerships with our external marketplaces partners.
Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years of sales experience, with hands-on experience in managing E-commerce retailers and pure players.
- Hands-on experience with core account management and planning competencies.
- Experience in negotiation and managing external commercial relationships.
- Experience in effectively managing a matrixed structure.
- Energized by commercial challenges and driving performance.
- A positive attitude and bias for action, with a focus on solutions and creative ways of achieving goals.
- Previous experience working with global and regional structures in a brand with detailed creative guidelines is beneficial.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical issues in simple terms.
- Keen eye for detail, particularly in a digital setting.
- Low ego, with a willingness to flow to work in times of need.
- Fluent in English, with an additional EMEA language beneficial.
