Research FocusOur research group is focused on decoding novel reaction chemistries from the underexploited family of N-N bond-forming enzymes (NNZYMES). We aim to build important molecules such as precursors for pharmaceuticals using sustainable biocatalysts.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct research on N-N bond-forming enzymes and their applications in biocatalysis
- Develop and optimize biocatalytic processes for the production of pharmaceutical precursors
- Collaborate with the research group to advance the field of biocatalysis
- Master's degree in chemistry, biochemistry, or biotechnology
- Strong background in biocatalysis and enzyme biochemistry
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Fluency in English
- A full-time position for four years
- A salary of € 2,770 gross per month in the first year, up to a maximum of € 3,539 gross per month in the fourth and final year
- A holiday allowance of 8% of gross annual income
- An 8.3% end-of-the-year allowance
