About the Role


We are seeking an experienced Electrical Designer and Systems Engineer to join our team at Philips. As a key member of our R&D organization, you will be responsible for developing electrical systems and solutions for Interventional Guided Therapy systems.



Your Responsibilities



  • Develop electrical (sub-) systems and solutions, including their validation, testing, and troubleshooting, in collaboration with internal teams and external suppliers.
  • Work within a multi-disciplinary team to apply research results and technology advancements while ensuring total system compliance with international EMC standards.
  • Maintain and improve the EMC architecture and compliance of our systems, facilities, and equipment.
  • Collaborate with designers, engineers, and suppliers to ensure that our products meet the required EMC standards.
  • Plan, deliver, and document results to meet project timelines and quality standards.


About You


To be successful in this role, you should have:



  • A Master of Science or related technical degree in electrical-, electronics-, mechatronics engineering or a related field.
  • A minimum of 10+ years of experience in professional engineering environments, preferably in the medical device industry.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in EMC development and/or measurement, with a strong understanding of IEC60601-1-2 standards.
  • Proven experience in new product introduction and life-cycle development in the industry.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • A proactive and energetic approach to problem-solving, with a drive for patient safety and quality.

Estimated Salary: €90,000 - €110,000 per annum
