About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr Detector Designer to join our Imaging Chain Cluster team at Philips. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the high quality, serviceability, and reliability of detectors in our systems.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the sustaining of high quality, serviceable, and reliable detectors in our systems.
  • Secure that new developed detectors will fulfill all relevant requirements.
  • Establish and safeguard a good relation with suppliers on a technical level to secure that solutions will be implemented which benefit the entire supply chain, including a focus on Life Cycle Management.
  • In this role, you are responsible for securing that the team is able to test detector performance in our own lab environment.
  • Safeguarding that New Product Development will introduce high-quality products.

About You:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional with a strong understanding of detector technology and healthcare products. You should have a Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering, with 5+ years of experience in E HW development (EMC, FPGA). Additionally, you should have experience with healthcare regulatory aspects (FDA 820.x, IEC 62304, IEC60601, ISO13485, ISO14971), effective communication skills, and a continuous improvement attitude.
