The Sales Account Manager is responsible for driving sales and margin targets within a specified group of accounts across various industries. This role reports to the Country Sales Leader Netherlands & MD.

You will be responsible for selling a range of Honeywell Home branded products and solutions, including thermostats and valves. The role requires extensive travel across the Noord-Holland region, with one day per week based onsite in our Amsterdam office.

The chosen candidate will be part of a successful, customer-friendly sales team, focused on turnover and profit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to identify opportunities and mitigate threats to market position.
  • Formulate improvements in product/market combinations and profile the organization and its products in the market, focusing on the development and profitability of the product range.
  • Establish strategic partnerships within larger organizations in the Netherlands.
  • Develop and execute sales plans, including objectives and activities, to drive sales and marketing efforts.
  • Manage sales progress and results, resolving bottlenecks and problems in the sales organization.
  • Support the sales team in fostering valuable customer relationships and laying the foundation for profitable and lasting relationships.
  • Provide management reports on sales and marketing performance, analyzing trends and assessing causes for deviations from objectives.

Requirements:

  • 5 years of experience in a sales/key account management position within a technical environment.
  • Ability to achieve results through the transfer of sales strategies, plans, and management reports.
  • Driving license and ability to travel within Noord-Holland.
  • Excellent oral and written skills in Dutch and English languages.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of thermostats, valves, boilers, and/or similar products.
  • Degree in a technical discipline.
