Job Title: Senior Azure DevOps Engineer

About the Role:

Fugro is seeking a highly skilled Senior Azure DevOps Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our operational efficiency team, you will play a pivotal role in streamlining our business processes by spearheading the integration of applications critical to our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze business requirements for automating information flow across enterprise platforms;
  • Design robust integration algorithms/patterns for integrating applications and developing API platforms;
  • Produce comprehensive documentation, including functional and support manuals;
  • Advise on cost-efficient use of Azure components to manage operational expenditures (OPEX).

Requirements:

  • BSc or MSc degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field;
  • Strong understanding of C#/.Net development for writing and hosting APIs on App services and Azure Functions;
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience, with demonstrated work experience in an international project-based company, and hands-on experience in Azure Integration Services (Services bus, Logic Apps, Event Grid, Functions);
  • Experience using hosting and managing APIs via Azure API Management;
  • Strong understanding of Web Services, OData v4 Web Services, JSON, and XML message formats;
  • Proven ability to establish, maintain, and evolve concepts in continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for both existing and new services;
  • Knowledge of building near real-time integrations;
  • Excellent English language skills, both written and oral.
