Junior Financial Analyst

We are seeking a highly motivated Junior Controller to join our EMEA HQ finance team based in Hoofddorp. As a key member of the team, you will support the Finance Team in financial reporting and controlling activities, and play an active role in the planning process.
Key Responsibilities- Actively support in the financial closing procedures of 5 reporting entities, ensuring reconciliation of sales, controlling of accrued and prepaid positions, and other relevant closing procedures.
- Perform cost controlling and analysis on various areas such as rebates and SG&A.
- Support the finance team in the planning process, forecasting of P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash-Flow.
- Coordinate the internal audit process, providing support in documentation and review of standard operating procedures.
- Own the non-stock purchase order process, supporting users and following up on outstanding issues.
- A relevant bachelor's degree, e.g., in accounting or control.
- At least 2-4 years' work experience in an international commercial environment.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially in Excel (advanced user).
- Knowledge of relevant ERP systems (preferably JD Edwards, but this is not essential).
- Proficient in the English language, both written and verbal.
- Effective and direct communication skills.
- Self-starter with a proven track record of taking initiative.
- Strong analytical thinking.
- Flexible, able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work in a matrix organization.
- Experience with business intelligence software Tableau (or similar) is desirable but not essential.
