About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Market Specialist to join our Commercial team in the Netherlands. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing existing and creating new customer portfolios in the Netherlands.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Execute the commercial strategy defined by the Commercial Manager Benelux.
- Scout for new opportunities, understand and define the market's needs, and conduct market studies to identify new opportunities and quantify their financial and technical feasibility.
- Pursue business growth by initiating and managing New Business Development projects at existing or new customers in close collaboration with Customer Technical Service, the Business Innovation Center, and other colleagues in European business units.
- Manage a customer portfolio, identify and understand customer needs, develop and maintain long-term relationships, and ensure coordination between the customer and internal Lhoist services.
About You
- Education: Scientific University degree, Business Engineer, Industrial Engineer, Civil Engineer, Chemist Bio-Engineer, or Economics degree.
- Skills: Fluent in Dutch and English, any other language (especially German or French) is a plus, minimum of 3 years' experience in a technical or marketing position in the industry, passion for industry, products, and innovative solutions, commercial affinity, negotiation skills, account management experience is a plus.
