PR Specialist Job Description

As a PR Specialist at Specialized Europe B.V., you will play a pivotal role in elevating our brand's visibility across the region. Your primary focus will be on mainstream media, building strong relationships with key outlets and driving coverage in lifestyle, business, and general interest media.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute effective PR strategies to increase brand awareness and media coverage.
  • Build and maintain relationships with mainstream media outlets, securing coverage in key publications.
  • Collaborate with regional Category Marketing Leads to ensure alignment between PR efforts and broader marketing campaigns.
  • Provide guidance and expertise to local market PR specialists, ensuring consistency in brand and product messaging across the region.
  • Support the planning and execution of media events, press conferences, and product launches, ensuring strong media presence and coverage.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in public relations, with a focus on mainstream lifestyle media.
  • Strong understanding of media relations and experience building and executing successful PR campaigns.
  • Excellent communication, writing, and storytelling skills.
  • Ability to collaborate across teams and manage multiple regional projects simultaneously.
  • Fluency in English; additional European language(s) is a plus.
  • Passion for the outdoor lifestyle, particularly cycling, is an advantage.
