About the Role

The Technical Consultant will play a key role in the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of Temenos Data Suite products. This involves applying advanced analysis skills and technical expertise in implementing containerized applications on client sites or in the cloud.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide detailed technical work on Data Lake projects being implemented.
  • Work on customer sites or remotely as part of the Data Lake implementation process.
  • Deploy, configure, and maintain Temenos data products across various technology stacks.
  • Offer expertise to clients in defining additional standard enhancements and best practices.
  • Advise clients on setting up production environments and running TEMENOS products, including database administration.
  • Assist the Project Manager in planning.
  • Conduct all aspects of TEMENOS product implementation, driving business streams.
  • Coordinate with TEMENOS maintenance groups to resolve product issues encountered by clients.
  • Lead the identification, definition, and coordination of implementation activities, such as additional requirements, issues with functionality under testing, training needs, and liaising with the Project Manager.
  • Perform other duties, functions, and services consistent with status or vocational ability as required.
Requirements
  • Experience working with version control repositories like GIT, TFS, or BitBucket.
  • Experience working with container engines such as Docker or Podman, including working with images, building, tagging, committing to registries like Maven or ACR.
  • Experience working with Kubernetes on-prem or in the cloud, including working with HELM, YAML configuration of Namespaces, Services, Ingress, Volumes, Config maps.
  • Knowledge of streaming services like Apache Kafka, Azure Event Hubs.
  • Comfortable with Linux CLI, SSH, user and permission management, networking, and security concepts, including configuration of SSL certificates.
  • Experience with relational databases like Oracle, MSSQL Server, Postgresql on-prem or in the cloud.
  • Enterprise-scale technical experience with cloud and hybrid infrastructures, architecture designs, database migrations, and technology management.
  • Technical aptitude and experience to learn new technologies and understand relevant cloud/on-prem trends.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Independent problem solver.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel within Europe as required.
  • Prior experience with Temenos Transact or data products.
  • Automation and CI/CD experience with tools like Jenkins or Maven.
  • Monitoring with tools like Prometheus.
  • Configuring a service mesh with tools like Istio.
  • Knowledge of infrastructure as code.
  • Knowledge of configuring Web Apps on JBoss, IIS, or Apache Tomcat.
