Job Overview

The Material Management Process Coordinator plays a pivotal role in ensuring effective material and inventory management within the logistics framework of Neptune Energy. This position involves a range of responsibilities focused on optimizing processes and maintaining high standards of data quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate problem-solving initiatives, provide process training, and document work instructions for SAP MM and WM systems related to material and inventory management.
  • Assist in the operational creation and upkeep of material masters, ensuring data integrity, material classification, and MRP activation while supporting the Inventory Systems & Material Master Coordinator.
  • Conduct reviews and follow-ups on Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) and quarantine processes.
  • Oversee material inspections, coordinate internal stock counts, and manage third-party stock reviews.

Reporting Structure

This position reports directly to the Logistics Manager in the Netherlands.

Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ)

  • Adhere to Neptune's HSEQ standards, the SCML HSEQ plan, and GOIMS protocols.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO standards.

Training and Process Support

  • Provide user support and training for SAP processes within MM and WM logistics.
  • Assist in developing training materials and work instructions, while resolving daily issues and providing guidance to material coordinators and warehouse personnel.

Material Master Maintenance

  • Execute material master data tasks, including creation, maintenance, and deletion of materials and services.
  • Support the SAP Inventory and Warehouse Management Module.
  • Analyze and validate material and vendor master data, implementing necessary updates.
  • Conduct MRP reviews for the logistics team.

Material Management Duties

  • Generate monthly reports detailing activity levels and issues related to material management.
  • Coordinate material inspections, cycle counts, and third-party stock assessments.
  • Participate in materials audits as required.

General Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary contact for dispatch and warehouse teams regarding SAP MM and WH.
  • Engage with the Netherlands business and broader supply chain.
  • Attend safety meetings and foster a culture of safety.
  • Promote cross-functional collaboration and efficient operational cooperation.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Significant experience with ERP systems and processes in large-scale logistics and warehouse environments.
  • Proficient communication skills in both English and Dutch.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a dynamic operational setting.
  • Knowledge of dangerous goods regulations.
  • Familiarity with production and drilling equipment/tools and associated activities.
