Job Overview
The Material Management Process Coordinator plays a vital role in enhancing operational efficiency within Neptune Energy's logistics framework. This position focuses on the effective management of materials and inventory through comprehensive training, documentation, and problem-solving initiatives related to SAP MM and WM systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate problem resolution, process training, and documentation for SAP MM and WM systems, ensuring effective material and inventory management.
- Assist in the operational creation and upkeep of material masters, ensuring data integrity, material classification, and MRP activation, while supporting the Inventory Systems & Material Master Coordinator.
- Conduct reviews and follow-ups on Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) and quarantine materials.
- Oversee material inspections, internal stock counts, and coordination of third-party stock reviews.
Reporting Structure
This position reports directly to the Logistics Manager in the Netherlands.
Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ)
- Adhere to Neptune Energy's HSEQ standards, the SCML HSEQ plan, and GOIMS protocols.
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards.
Training and Process Support
- Provide user support and training for SAP processes within MM and WM.
- Assist in the development of training materials and work instructions, offering daily problem-solving guidance to material coordinators and warehouse personnel.
Material Master Data Management
- Execute activities related to material master data, including creation, maintenance, and deletion of materials and services.
- Support the SAP Inventory and Warehouse Management Module.
- Analyze and validate material and vendor master data, implementing necessary updates.
- Conduct MRP reviews for the logistics team.
Material Management Activities
- Generate monthly reports detailing activity levels and issues related to material management.
- Coordinate material inspections, cycle counts, and third-party stock evaluations.
- Participate in materials audits as required.
General Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for dispatch and warehouse teams regarding SAP MM and WH.
- Engage with the NL Business and broader supply chain.
- Attend safety meetings and promote a culture of safety.
- Encourage cross-functional collaboration and enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications and Experience
- Significant experience with ERP systems and processes in large-scale logistics and warehouse settings.
- Proficient communication skills in both English and Dutch.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently in a dynamic operational environment.
- Awareness of Dangerous Goods regulations.
- Familiarity with production and drilling equipment/tools and related activities.
