IT Support Specialist

The IT Support Representative is a key member of the IT Support team, reporting to the Manager, IT Support. This role plays a crucial part in supporting Assent in both proactive and reactive capacities, providing world-class service and support to the entire Assent Team, regardless of location.
This position involves providing technology support to employees, troubleshooting technical issues, creating knowledge base articles and other documentation, and reporting issue resolutions back to affected stakeholders. Additionally, the IT Support Representative will participate in the IT team's daily tasks, including IT office maintenance, IT storage facilities stocking and organizing, assisting with computer setups, hardware shipping and receiving, and more.
Key Responsibilities- Configure and Setup Technology Systems: Ensure that technology systems are properly configured and set up for Assent team members.
- Provide IT System and Hardware Support: Offer technical support for IT systems and hardware to Assent Inc. stakeholders.
- Manage IT Equipment: Place orders, receive IT equipment shipments, and make deliveries to/from the office as needed.
- Maintain Asset Inventory: Keep track of and manage asset inventory.
- Manage Office Workstations and Meeting Rooms: Troubleshoot and manage office workstations and meeting rooms.
- Understand Corporate Security Policies: Familiarize yourself with corporate security policies and follow established procedures.
- Work Closely with Assentees: Collaborate with Assentees across various regions.
- Support Cloud Systems: Provide support for specific cloud systems used by the corporation.
- Manage User Accounts: Create, manage, and decommission user accounts in a timely manner.
- Monitor Systems Accounts: Regularly review and monitor systems accounts.
- Maintain Software Licensing: Ensure software licensing is up-to-date and compliant.
- Manage Office Access: Provision and deprovision office access for users.
We value candidates with the following qualifications:
- Technical Experience: 5+ years of experience supporting Windows and macOS operating systems.
- Google Workspace Proficiency: Proficiency in using Google Workspace.
- Remote Support Experience: Experience supporting both local and remote users.
- Network Troubleshooting: Experience with network troubleshooting.
- Communication Skills: Strong oral and written communication skills in English.
- Service-Oriented: Passion for providing high-quality service and support.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish cross-functional relationships.
- Attention to Detail: Diligent and detail-oriented, with a focus on accuracy.
- Adaptability: Highly adaptable and flexible, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
