Role Overview

OMA's Rotterdam office is seeking an HR Officer to manage all aspects of our HR processes and employee lifecycle. As the first point of contact for colleagues, you will provide advice and ensure compliance with local employment regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execution of HR processes, including onboarding, performance management, absenteeism, legal matters, employment conditions, payroll administration, and exit interviews.
  • Monitoring and maintaining employee files and data, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Recording new hires, departures, absences, promotions, and other changes accurately and on time.
  • Monitoring changes in legislation impacting HR processes and keeping policies up to date.
  • Continuously promoting improvements in HR systems and policies to achieve greater efficiency.
  • Ensuring timely and clear communication of employee data, both internally and to external providers.
  • Maintaining accurate HR records and generating reports related to employee leaves, compliance, and other HR metrics.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a Human Resources role within the Dutch labour market.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Labour Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • In-depth knowledge of Dutch labour laws and relevant regulations.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Dutch, both written and spoken.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Experience with cloud-based HR and ERP systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
