The EMEA region presents a significant growth opportunity, and we're seeking a skilled Marketplaces Merchandising Manager to drive our strategy forward. This role will play a crucial part in ensuring we have winning plans in place every day and perfect consumer journeys across our marketplaces.

About the role.

As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for ensuring that our owners receive an exceptional experience every day on our Regional Key Accounts. This will involve close collaboration with creative, marketing, category, agency, and account teams.

You'll be hands-on in various aspects, including SKU setup, media planning, content optimization, and channel strategy and planning. This role is ideal for an experienced merchandiser/trade marketer looking to take their next step on a challenging learning curve.

About you.

We're a fast-paced and agile company that values innovative thinking and a drive to deliver results. Your main accountabilities will include:

  • Delivering on-brand, onsite experiences for consumers on our Regional Key Accounts.
  • On-site media planning, working with account teams and marketplaces agencies to plan and execute plans that deliver incremental revenue at an efficient ROAS.
  • Passionate ownership of Dyson content for your channel, working with global, regional, local, and agency counterparts to ensure we have the right content for our marketplace partners.
  • SKU setup and planning, working with supply, account, and agency teams to ensure that Dyson SKUs are set up and optimized to maximize sell-out.
  • Brand and Creative guidelines, ensuring that Dyson brand guidelines are met at all times on our marketplace partners and in line with our new criteria.
  • Key Events, working with Account teams on planning for key events, ensuring that the consumer journey is fully optimized.
  • Testing and evaluation, working with marketplace settings on A/B testing roadmaps, looking to scale learnings where possible.
  • Optimizing content for SEO, optimizing content on-site for SEO and marketplaces search algorithms.
  • External networking and partnerships, building collaborative, value-adding, and strategic partnerships with our external marketplaces partners, seeking to understand their business in-depth to unlock new value-adding opportunities.

Skills and Required Experience:

  • Minimum of 4-5 years of commercial hands-on experience of consumer journeys in a digital setting, merchandising, trading plans, and media planning.
  • Must have experience in managing budgets and spend, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Previous experience working with retailer agencies is highly beneficial.
  • Must have experience working with CMS and merchandising tools.
  • Must have experience in effectively managing a matrixed structure.
  • Energized by commercial challenges and delivering plans in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
  • A positive attitude and bias for action, looking for solutions and creative ways of achieving goals despite setbacks.
  • Previous experience working with global and regional structures in a brand with detailed creative guidelines is beneficial.
  • Strong communicator, able to clearly communicate technical issues in simple, layman's terminology.
  • Keen eye for detail, particularly within a digital setting.
  • Low ego, happy to flow to work in times of need, seamlessly moving from highly strategic concepts to operational projects.
  • Fluent in English, an additional EMEA language is beneficial.
