About the Position

The University of Twente is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Assistant Professor to join our faculty. As an Assistant Professor, you will play a key role in strengthening our research profile by focusing on new relevant theories, methodologies, and tools in the field of asset management and maintenance engineering.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct research and develop new knowledge in the field of asset management and maintenance engineering;
  • Teach and develop undergraduate and graduate courses related to asset management and maintenance engineering;
  • Supervise doctoral, master, and bachelor students in their research projects;
  • Collaborate with other researchers and industry partners to develop new technologies and strategies for asset management and maintenance;
  • Contribute to the development of new courses and programs related to asset management and maintenance engineering.
Requirements
  • Ph.D. in a relevant field such as asset management, maintenance engineering, or a related field;
  • Proven track record of research and teaching experience in the field of asset management and maintenance engineering;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and industry partners;
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines;
  • Fluency in English, with the ability to communicate complex ideas and concepts effectively.
