Nemho is the hub of R&D for Broadview Holding's materials companies, including Arpa, Formica, Homapal, Trespa, and Westag. The group strives for long-term growth by supporting its operating companies and allocating capital efficiently.

With combined sales of EUR 1.2 billion, these companies hold a leading position in the global market for surface materials. They employ around 7,000 employees worldwide, with their core product being high-pressure laminates (HPL). Applications range from façade cladding to kitchens, design furniture, doors, and retail interiors.

The strategy involves continuous investment in developing new and innovative products. Nemho has over 60 technicians, engineers, and chemists responsible for product and process development, as well as improving quality and production efficiency through technology implementation.

Key Objectives

As an Industrial Process Innovator / Chemist, you will contribute to new product and process developments in resins, papers, and production technologies for the Broadview Materials companies. Based on your insights, you will work together with specialists to deliver opportunities for optimizations, synergies, and standardizations in impregnation and pressing processes in our factories.

  • Gain a clear understanding of our processes by analyzing the situation in Group factories.
  • Create models to further standardize these processes in different factories.
  • Contribute to project descriptions and plans.
  • Inform or advise the R&D Manager in strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Contribute to innovative projects for BVH materials technology companies.
  • Execute project administration work and act as project leader of sub-assignments.

We are looking for someone with a Master's or PhD in Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Chemistry, with a strong technical background in polymer/resin chemistry and at least three years of relevant industrial experience. Knowledge of process engineering, scale-up processes, thermosetting resin development, and thermoplastics are essential areas of competency for this role. Fluency in English is required, and other languages are welcome. Travel of up to 30% is part of this opportunity.

We offer a competitive salary of approximately €80,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. This role provides an excellent opportunity to grow professionally and contribute to the success of our company.
