Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Investment Risk Manager to join our Investment Risk Management team. As a key member of this team, you will be responsible for assessing new investment proposals, providing advice, and presenting conclusions to the relevant committee. Your expertise will be essential in advising on investments and related topics, such as ALM and ESG, as well as actively supporting Athora's interests on complex financial and strategic topics.
Key Responsibilities- Assess new investment proposals and provide advice to the relevant committee.
- Advise on investments and related topics, such as ALM and ESG.
- Actively support Athora's interests on complex financial and strategic topics.
- Monitor the investment portfolio and ensure that investment and financial risk-related policies remain up to date.
- Be involved in strategic investment decisions, such as Strategic Asset Allocation and Tactical Asset Allocation.
- MSc in Economics, Econometrics, or a related field of study with a quantitative orientation.
- Thorough knowledge of financial markets and instruments, preferably within private assets.
- Around 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in a position within a bank, investment institution, insurer, consultancy, or elsewhere within a financial risk management domain.
- Professional qualification, such as CFA, VBA, CAIA, or equivalent, or willingness to work towards it.
- Work and residence permit for the Netherlands.
- A dynamic working environment with enthusiastic and driven colleagues.
