Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Investment Risk Manager to join our Investment Risk Management team. As a key member of this team, you will be responsible for assessing new investment proposals, providing advice, and presenting conclusions to the relevant committee.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assessing new investment proposals and providing advice to the Investment Office
- Advising on investments and related topics, such as ALM and ESG
- Supporting Athora's interests on complex financial and strategic topics with external stakeholders
- Monitoring the investment portfolio and ensuring investment and financial risk-related policies remain up to date
- Participating in strategic investment decisions, such as Strategic Asset Allocation and Tactical Asset Allocation
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Master's degree in Economics, Econometrics, or a related field with a quantitative orientation
- A thorough knowledge of financial markets and instruments, preferably within private assets
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in a position within a bank, investment institution, insurer, consultancy, or elsewhere within a financial risk management domain
- A professional qualification, such as CFA, VBA, CAIA, or equivalent, or a willingness to work towards it
- A work and residence permit for the Netherlands
