Job Mission

As a Team Lead in the Handling and Transport Technology (HTT) department, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining handling and transport solutions for ASML's products and related goods throughout their life cycle. Your team will be responsible for designing and implementing lifting and transport tools for safe, reliable, efficient, and cost-effective transport and installation of ASML systems and modules.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise farmout teams and/or internal engineering teams to ensure timely delivery of tasks with the right quality and agreed budget.
  • Own and maintain the team plan/resource plan and align it with project leads to ensure effective resource allocation.
  • Ensure ways of working/best practice are used by engineers and connect team members to relevant Design & Engineering processes and competences.
  • Support team members with technical issues and reviews, and contribute to short- and long-term capacity team planning.
  • Set priorities for the team in collaboration with stakeholders and perform recruitment activities.
  • Perform people performance of team members, including continuous conversation, yearly target setting, mid-year review, and end-year reviews.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor/Master in Mechanical Engineering or a similar technical engineering discipline.
  • Years of working experience in a relevant field, with experience in leadership in a technical high-tech environment.
  • Several years of experience in a multidisciplinary technical environment, with experience in coaching and leading teams.
  • Broad knowledge in the area of mechanics, safety, ergonomics, and logistics.
  • Excellent social, coordination, and communication skills, with the ability to work in an international multicultural environment.
  • Ability to provide technical direction, motivate, and steer a team of professionals, and manage stakeholders effectively.
