About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Safety and Quality Assurance Lead to join our team at HelloFresh. As a key member of our International Food Safety and Quality Assurance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality across our global operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with international and country procurement teams to develop and implement strategic projects that ensure suppliers meet our food safety, quality, ethical, and cultural requirements.
  • Manage and further develop the HelloFresh International supplier approval process, including supplier onboarding, risk allocation, and audit standard development.
  • Work with the international development team to identify and mitigate food safety and quality risks across our global operations.
  • Create and deploy food safety and quality procedures across our system, developing existing processes for international rollout.
  • Collaborate with the Operations team to deliver on key performance metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a similar role within the food manufacturing, assembly, distribution, or retail industry, with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
  • Internal and external audit experience, with a strong understanding of relevant government food regulations.
  • Knowledge of food safety systems, HACCP, and COSHH, with a CIEH Level 4 award in Food Safety or equivalent qualification.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders.
