Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Karsten International. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of our products.
Key Responsibilities- Support quality managers with product reports and evaluations;
- Evaluate test reports and draw conclusions to ensure compliance with legal requirements;
- Advise buyers on product improvements and coordinate items from sourcing to shipment;
- Take responsibility for the technical file of an item and ensure it meets regulatory standards;
- Collaborate with the Quality team, Product Management, and colleagues from China to ensure product compliance;
- Communicate with suppliers, labs, and inspection companies to ensure product safety;
- Stay up-to-date with EU legislation for non-food items and ensure our products comply with regulations.
- Preferably a few years of experience in a retail environment;
- Strong attention to detail and a pragmatic mindset;
- Knowledge of EU legislation for non-food items or willingness to learn;
- Proficiency in using quality tools and software;
- Previous experience in product-safety legislation;
- Good language skills in English;
- Ability to work from the office a minimum of 80%.
