About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Digitalization Product Manager to join our team at Marel. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading and managing our digitalization initiatives to maximize value creation across their lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop Pricing Strategies: Create and implement pricing strategies for product lines, ensuring alignment with value propositions to maximize profitability and market competitiveness.
  • Collaborate with Sales Teams: Work closely with industry sales teams to create annual revenue budgets, leveraging insights into market trends and customer needs to drive revenue growth.
  • Deliver Business Cases: Develop high-quality business cases and value propositions for new product development initiatives, incorporating thorough market analysis and financial projections to support decision-making and investment prioritization.
  • Identify Digitalization Opportunities: Identify digitalization opportunities and develop a strategy to create and maintain digital products and services that add value to customers and the company.
  • Manage Stakeholder Relationships: Manage and work closely with stakeholders such as product development, marketing, sales, and customers to understand market needs and translate them into actionable product requirements.
  • Plan and Manage Digital Product Development: Plan and manage the development, launch, and lifecycle of digital products and services, including developing marketing plans (sales and service included), training, and supporting customer adoption.
  • Evaluate Performance: Evaluate the performance of digital products and services using performance indicators and customer feedback, identifying opportunities for improvement and optimization.
  • Stay Informed about Market Trends: Stay informed about market trends and competitor activities, using these insights to continuously adjust and improve the digital product strategy.

About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual who is passionate about leading and managing digitalization initiatives. You will have a bachelor's or master's degree in science/technology, business administration, marketing, or a related field, and demonstrated experience in product management, preferably with digital products and services.

You will bring with you:

  • Ability to Develop and Execute Marketing Strategies: You will have the ability to develop and execute effective marketing strategies and tactics to promote products or services, drive brand awareness, and generate leads.
  • Expertise in Sales Techniques: You will have expertise in employing proven sales techniques and methodologies tailored to B2B environments, fostering client relationships, and closing deals.
  • Strong Communication Skills: You will have strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate with various stakeholders.
  • Excellent Project Management Skills: You will have excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Market Analysis and Competitor Assessment: You will have the ability to conduct thorough market need analysis, pricing evaluations, and competitor assessments to identify opportunities, mitigate risks, and inform strategic decision-making.
  • Customer-Centric Approach: You will have a commitment to putting the customer at the center of smart factory and digital product development efforts.
  • Understanding of Digital Technologies: You will have an understanding of digital technologies, platforms, and tools relevant to the development and deployment of digital products, coupled with the ability to quickly grasp new technological concepts.
  • Proficiency in English: You will have proficiency in English, both verbal and written.
