Senior Compliance Officer for Card Scheme Governance

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Compliance Officer to join our Amsterdam office, where you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with Card Scheme Rules and Regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify compliance obligations and translate them into relevant policies and procedures;
  • Represent scheme compliance on various work streams and products to establish strategies that align with global objectives;
  • Strengthen knowledge management across the global business;
  • Participate in product risk assessments and advise other compliance verticals;
  • Handle escalations from internal and external stakeholders;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve compliant solutions;
  • Advise senior management on compliance matters.

About You

  • You have at least 5 years of experience in payments/credit card industry or second-line compliance functions;
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to work as a business partner;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to influence across all levels of the organization;
  • Good sense of business acumen and technical skills;
  • Strong initiative and self-motivation.

Salary

We offer a competitive salary of €80,000 - €100,000 per year, depending on experience.
