Introduction

ASML is seeking a highly motivated and skilled intern to join our team in the EUV Dose Control group. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work on a challenging project that involves developing efficient methods to navigate and convert dose control hardware data archives into MATLAB files.

Background Information

The EUV Dose Control group is responsible for delivering the requested amount of light for wafer exposure. We deploy various types of sensors to measure, calibrate, and control EUV light at source, reticle, and wafer levels. Our challenge is to measure the light accurately while spending as short a time as possible.

Your Assignment

Your task will be to develop an efficient method to convert dose control hardware data archives into MATLAB files that can be easily processed and analyzed. Additionally, you will formulate test cases to perform quick and easy verification of dose control functions, methods, and signal quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop on-demand methods to convert parts of the Dose Control data output into MATLAB format.
  • Create MATLAB apps and functions to verify the correctness of dose control algorithms and procedures performed on the system and perform statistical analysis on the data to flag potential issues.
  • Migrate these analyses to test automation platforms.
Requirements
  • Bachelor or master student in (applied) Physics, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Experience with parallel computing.
  • Knowledge of testing automation (e.g. Jenkins) and handling of large datasets.
  • Great understanding of MATLAB and knowledge of (or an interest in learning) Python.
  • Great communication skills in English both verbally and in writing.
