About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Event Operations Manager to lead our Conference Centre team at Unknown Group. In this leadership role, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the conference center, ensuring profitability through effective budget management and revenue optimization.

As a key member of our team, you will spearhead the development of the conference center, enhancing its look, feel, and technological capabilities to meet the evolving needs of our community.

You will drive sales and develop strategic partnerships within the region, collaborating with event managers to expand our reach and enhance our offerings. Additionally, you will supervise and ensure the high-quality execution of events, maintaining operational standards that reflect the prestige of Unknown Group.

About You:

  • You have a solid track record of managing teams and operations smoothly, with experience in event spaces or hotels.
  • You possess local connections in The Hague or South Holland event scene and are skilled at making deals and forming lasting partnerships.
  • You bring hospitality to the table, with experience in events and banqueting, and a focus on attention to detail.
  • You are flexible with your hours, ready to tackle challenges head-on, and eager to help out the team to get things done.
  • You are a people person, easy to talk to, good at building relationships, and able to keep cool and connect with people from all walks of life.
