We are seeking an experienced Operations Security Manager to join our team at the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons. In this critical role, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining effective security measures to protect our organisation, staff, facilities, and information.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement comprehensive security risk management programmes to identify and mitigate potential threats;
- Conduct regular threat assessments and recommend appropriate countermeasures to ensure the safety and security of personnel, assets, and sensitive information;
- Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement physical security measures, including access control systems, surveillance equipment, and alarm systems;
- Supervise and manage security operations, including the coordination of security personnel, training, and emergency response plans;
- Analyse and report on security incidents, trends, and best practices to inform organisational security policies and procedures;
- A Master's degree in a relevant field, such as security studies, international relations, or business administration;
- No less than 7 years of experience in security management, preferably in a similar role within an international organisation;
- Proven expertise in security risk management, physical security, and access control systems;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders at all levels;
- Fluency in English is essential, with proficiency in one or more additional official languages (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, Spanish) being desirable;
The estimated annual salary for this position is approximately €90,000 - €110,000, depending on qualifications and experience. Our organisation offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, pension plan, and generous leave entitlements.
