Job SummaryThis is an exciting opportunity to work on critical security operations in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a Senior Security Operations Manager, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of security risk management strategies and programmes to ensure the safety and security of our personnel, facilities, and assets.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement comprehensive security risk assessments and mitigation strategies to identify and address potential threats to the Organisation's security.
- Lead the design and implementation of security systems, protocols, and procedures to ensure the protection of people, property, and sensitive information.
- Collaborate with senior management and other stakeholders to develop and implement security policies, standards, and guidelines.
- Maintain effective relationships with external partners, including law enforcement agencies, government officials, and private sector entities.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 7 years of progressively responsible experience in security operations, preferably in an international or governmental organisation.
- In-depth knowledge of (UN) Security Risk Management, UN Security Standards, and industry standards.
- Personal experience with the implementation of security risk management programmes and technical security systems.
- Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
The estimated annual salary for this position is $120,000 - $150,000, depending on qualifications and experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
