Job Description

This exciting opportunity as a Senior Operations Manager for Consumer Goods will involve leading consulting engagements focused on optimizing operational performance, driving efficiency, and fostering innovation within consumer goods and manufacturing companies.

You will work closely with senior stakeholders to understand business objectives and develop tailored solutions that address key challenges. Your expertise in operating model design, process improvement, supply chain optimization, and digital transformation will be instrumental in driving client success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and lead new accounts and focus on business development initiatives.
  • Lead client engagements, working closely with senior stakeholders to understand business objectives and develop tailored solutions.
  • Design and implement operating models that align with client objectives, leveraging industry best practices and innovative methodologies.
  • Drive process improvement initiatives to streamline operations, reduce costs, and enhance productivity.
  • Provide expertise in supply chain optimization, including distribution network design, inventory management, and logistics optimization.
  • Advise clients on digital transformation strategies, leveraging technology to drive innovation and competitive advantage.
  • Lead change management efforts to ensure successful implementation of operating model transformations.
  • Contribute to thought leadership initiatives, sharing insights and best practices with colleagues and clients.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team culture.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in consumer goods and/or manufacturing sectors, with at least 8 years of experience in consulting roles.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
  • Expertise in operating model design, process improvement, supply chain optimization, and digital transformation.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to lead client engagements and manage project teams effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Analytical mindset, with the ability to solve complex problems and drive innovative solutions.
  • Fluency in Dutch and English languages.
