Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer Mechanical to join our team at Uniper SE. As a key member of our Maintenance Engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our plants and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:- Locate, analyze, and resolve equipment failures that threaten the availability, reliability, and efficiency of our installations.
- Analyze, evaluate, and report on the performance, condition, and lifespan of equipment and components in relation to business operations and legal and contractual obligations.
- Advise and prepare proposals on maintenance philosophy, maintenance concepts, maintenance interventions, business operations, and optimization.
- Collaborate with other departments on site, such as Operations, Quality & Performance, and daily maintenance, and maintain direct contact with various contractors and OEMs for optimization of installations.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- At least 5 years of experience in the energy, process, or chemical industry, with a focus on mechanical engineering.
- Proven experience in preparing and executing revisions.
- Positive and result-oriented attitude, self-motivated, and communicative, with a hands-on mentality.
- Cost- and quality-conscious, with attention to detail.
- Commercial and entrepreneurial attitude and work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively in a team, be flexible, and manage mental responsibilities.
- Familiarity with SAP ERP system.
- Proficiency in Dutch and English, with some knowledge of German an asset.
