Job Description

Fugro is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our Global Application Services team. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading IT projects from initiation to formal close-out, ensuring that the Project Delivery Framework (PDF) is adhered to with proper stage gates and sign-off.

Your Role

  • You will be responsible for creating project plans, including milestones, and allocating resources to ensure timely completion.
  • You will manage project organization and governance, ensuring that IT projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.
  • You will implement IT applications, adhering to business processes and supported by IT operations, with documented localizations and user procedures.
  • You will prepare continuous project status reports and conduct post-project evaluations to ensure quality control and risk management.
  • You will operate in a cross-functional team, meeting stakeholder expectations and project deliverables.

Your Track Record

  • You have a relevant Master's or Bachelor's degree, preferably complemented with Project Management qualifications, and bring 3-5 or more years of relevant working experience within project management in a large, international organization.
  • You have proven experience leading and managing large and complex projects, with a sound knowledge of PMI and/or Prince2, and working experience in Waterfall. Knowledge of Agile/Scrum is a plus.
  • You have excellent English language skills, both written and oral, and the ability to understand high-level software and systems.
  • You have excellent communication skills on a technical and non-technical level and are able to collaborate across functions and organizational levels.
  • You are a self-starter, well-organized, and able to take ownership and initiative.
