Job Opportunity: Global Automation Lead

Transforming the Future of Food Production

Nutreco, a leading global provider of innovative aquafeed solutions, is seeking a highly skilled Global Automation Lead to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in advancing our Dosing Equipment into the future, leveraging Industry 4.0 technologies and digital processes to drive innovation and efficiency.

About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Connect our equipment through the Cloud and various communication protocols to enable seamless data exchange and real-time monitoring.
  • Maintain production installations and propose and execute improvement projects to optimize performance and reduce downtime.
  • Ensure all software databases are current and compliant with the latest standards, ensuring data integrity and security.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in industrial automation, with at least 2 years in a strategic leadership role.
  • Strong affinity with digital engineering, Industry 4.0, communication protocols, and IoT.
  • Experience with automation systems such as SCADA and Siemens TIA Portal, and leveraging Cloud integrations (we use Azure) in an embedded environment.
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
