ASML, a leading provider of semiconductor equipment, is seeking an experienced Semiconductor Technology Expert to join our team.
About the RoleWe are looking for a highly skilled professional with expertise in lithography and imaging to work as an Application Engineer in our Customer Support Applications and Business Support (ABS) department. As an Application Engineer, you will be responsible for providing customized application solutions to our customers, ensuring their effective use of our machines in their production process.

About the JobThis role involves close collaboration with development and engineering teams, representing the voice of the customer through communicating their needs and requirements to develop our business lines. You will run performance improvement projects in cooperation with customers and translate the results into improvement specifications for our development department. Additionally, you will sustain gathered knowledge through proper documentation and its maintenance, visiting customers internationally to optimize systems, providing training, and determining solutions to customer-related lithography needs.
Requirements- A Master's Degree or PhD in a technical field, such as Mechanics, Physics, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, or a similar engineer degree.
- Experience in an integrated circuit manufacturing environment with a strong emphasis on lithography and imaging.
- Strong capability in stakeholder management, adaptability in a highly dynamic environment, cultural awareness, ability to organize and influence without power, strong customer focus, excellent English language skills, and ability to explain complex technical subjects to different stakeholders.
The role is based in ASML HQ in the Netherlands and requires occasional travel to support our colleagues worldwide. The estimated salary for this position is €60,000 - €80,000 per year, depending on experience.
