Introduction to the Role

ASML is seeking a highly skilled Application Engineer to join our Customer Support Applications and Business Support (ABS) department. This exciting opportunity will enable you to leverage your technical expertise to deliver high-quality solutions to our customers, driving business growth and customer satisfaction.

About the Role

As an Application Engineer, you will be part of a global applications community serving all Business Lines: EUV, DUV and Applications. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Cross-functional collaboration with development and engineering teams to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Representing customer needs and requirements to develop our business lines, ensuring our products meet customer expectations.
  • Running performance improvement projects in cooperation with customers and translating results into improvement specifications for our development department.
  • Sustaining gathered knowledge through proper knowledge documentation and maintenance.
  • Visiting customers internationally to optimize system integration and provide tailored technical support.
  • Providing training to customers and local organizations to ensure ongoing customer support.
  • Determining solutions to customer-related lithography needs, working closely with internal departments.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's Degree or PhD in a technical field, such as Mechanics, Physics, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, or a similar degree.
  • Experience in an integrated circuit manufacturing environment, with a strong emphasis on lithography and imaging.
  • Experience in a customer-focused technical position.
