About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Component Engineer to join our team at Neways Technologies. As a Component Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and extending your expertise in electronics components to become a true Component Technology expert.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintaining and extending expertise in electronics components
- Introduction and registration of electronics components
- Modifying and distributing component information
- Assessing and following up Product Change Notices (PCNs) of component manufacturers
- Developing policies and long-term strategy with relation to electronic components
- Ensuring the quality and maintenance of the Components Database
- Continuously improving processes and procedures

What You Need to Succeed
- A Bachelor's degree in Electronics
- Knowledge of electronic components and the drive to stay up to date with the latest developments in your field of expertise
- Preferably 3-5 years of experience within a related position, such as Component Engineer or Hardware Engineer
- Knowledge of Printed Circuit Board Assembly (PCBA) is an advantage
- Good communication and writing skills in English
