About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Component Engineer to join our team at Neways Technologies. As a Component Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and extending your expertise in electronics components to become a true Component Technology expert.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and extend expertise in electronics components
  • Introduction and registration of electronics components
  • Modifying and distributing component information
  • Assessing and following up Product Change Notices (PCNs) of component manufacturers
  • Develop policies and long-term strategy with relation to electronic components
  • Guard the quality and maintenance of the Components Database
  • Continuously improve processes and procedures

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics
  • Knowledge of electronic components and the drive to stay up to date with the latest developments in your field of expertise
  • Preferably 3-5 years of experience within a related position, e.g. Component Engineer or Hardware Engineer
  • Knowledge of Printed Circuit Board Assembly (PCBA) is an advantage
  • Good communication and writing skills in English
