About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Component Engineer to join our team at Neways Technologies. As a Component Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and extending your expertise in electronics components to become a true Component Technology expert.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and extend expertise in electronics components to become a true Component Technology expert.
  • Introduction and registration of electronics components.
  • Modifying and distributing component information.
  • Assessing and following up Product Change Notices (PCNs) of component manufacturers.
  • Guarding the quality and maintenance of the Components Database.
  • Continuously improving processes and procedures.

Your Profile and DNA:

  • A MBO degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics.
  • Knowledge of electronic components, and the drive to stay up to date with the latest developments in your field of expertise.
  • Proven affinity with administration.
  • Knowledge of Printed Circuit Board Assembly (PCBA) is an advantage.
  • Good communication and writing skills in English.
